I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I wish I could say something nice about my mother's end of life care, but it was a battle between Jasmine and hospice. She had a stage 4 prolapse of the bladder and her cervix was hanging completely out of her body, and they argued with hospice about keeping her comfortable to the point she was screaming in pain. Even screaming in pain, it was not enough because of the discontent between Jasmine staff and hospice. I had to get in between and remind them that she needed the medicine and arguing with people was …

Excellent care

I think across the board it was the best! We've had experience w/multiple holes when my dad was living in them 6+ years ago & they were sub par & [name removed] is amazing!! They all seem happy & caring. A few use a stern voice like we have to w/a toddler sometimes, but at this stage, many elderly revert to a toddler mentality!

Jasmine Estates is the best!

We took my sister to Jasmine Estates crying her eyes out. She did not want to leave her house and cried every time anyone brought it up. She had daily care,but we all knew she needed twenty-four hour care. Then one night she fell and bruised her face and hurt her neck. That was when we knew we had to make a change. We got busy looking for a place with help from A Place for Mom while everyone took turns taking twenty-four hour care. I called and visited several places. My mother-in-law moved into Jasmine Estates of Edmond. The place is really nice. The staff is wonderful. After I get home, sometimes I'll call back. They are really good to talk about her needs, what she's doing, and what they are doing for her. When I'm there visiting, sometimes my mother-in-law will shut the door. They will come and tap on the door to check on her. They do that frequently. They check on her and the other patients, too. If their doors are shut, they'll come and check to see if …

My friend has moved in. They keep it very nice, and it doesn't have any smell to it when you go in. The personnel there seem very friendly, and very helpful. The rooms are pretty nice, they're very adequate. On St. Patrick's Day or Valentine's Day, they had a parade. They get the patients all involved and doing different activities for the parade. The rooms were not cleaned daily per the contract. The direct care staff were friendly but the admin staff did not communicate well. The care suffered because they were short-staffed and the staff they did have was inexperienced (night shift) and overworked. The food was good but my loved one missed several meals and left in the room overnight. The locks in her room were not functional and it took too long to get this resolved.
