My sister was in Joyful Living RCHE, which was a home-type facility. I toured many of the facilities that were assisted care/hospice-type situations, and they were the cleanest and most attentive by far. It was one of the places where you walk in and it was a beautiful facility, and they had loving, caring people. The staff was phenomenal. The food was good, but it wasn't really phenomenal. They had personal interactions, and she'll be taken out to walk if she wants to do that. She can either watch TV or …

I was very pleased with the community. I would recommend the community to others to look at for their loved ones. The staff were very good to work with. The food always smelled and looked good when I would visit my friend.

CriticalGreat place, but high staff turnover...
This facility is just fine. The grounds are kept very well maintained and my mother is eating better than she ever has. Her primary concern, however, is the fact that there is high staff turnover. It seems that her caregivers are changing all the time, so she does not get to form a real connection with them.
