Juniper Village at Brookline Wellspring Memory Care

Compassionate Staff -

Juniper has been a better fit for mom - she gave up some room space but got more staff/activities/care for about the same cost. They play balloon volleyball, beanbag tic-tac-toe, lots of singing, word games, reading aloud (ie: Chicken Soup for the Soul). They had live music for Mothers Day and are having a car show for Fathers Day.

Overall a good community. The clientele was very old compared to where we needed to be.

Suppsed to be secular. Staff has other ideas.

Non Christians will find the overt, heavy handed evangelism of certain members of the staff uncomfortable. Not limited to Sunday services, certain members of the staff waste no opportunity to "witness" and offer "testimony" regarding their evangelical Christain faith. Place is well run, clean, and the staff seems well trained, but for a place that is supposed to be secular and not affiliated with any religion. there's an awful lot of Jesus and "giving your life to Christ" here.

The facility was designed and built to optimize the function of memory care. The building is very well maintained and is always clean and cheerful.

Wellspring is a beautiful, safe, caring environment for the residents. I am a home health nurse who has helped coordinate services between our agency and Wellspring residents. I can attest first hand that the services provided at Wellspring consist of quality and care. I think anyone with family here can rest assured that their loved one is in a wonderful place!
