PositiveMy dad has only been at Kina Ole for a few weeks but it is hard to imagine him getting better care anywhere else. The staff has spent countless hours getting to know him and his likes/dislikes-even asking for him to teach them words in Chinese so he will feel more comfortable. The small home setting has made his transition to assisted living from living alone a lot easier! It feels more like a home than assisted living.

Classification and identity evidence
Current, unexpired Hawaii Department of Health Adult Residential Care Home or Expanded ARCH license from the live State Licensing Section report. Hawaii defines Type I ARCH as serving one to five residents and Type II as six or more; Expanded ARCH may admit residents who require a nursing-home level of care. This direct residential-care-home category supports Board & Care classification. Primary Contact/Licensee is retained only as licensee evidence and is never inferred to be an operator. The dated vacancy columns are not published as current availability, and the report establishes no price or fee.
