The staff and the gardens are wonderful

We choice the place because the gardens were lovely and I knew my mom would love them. We had a few nice afternoons looking at pond and roses. The staff were lovely and got my Mom ready for transport to dialysis and other doctor appointments. The food was fresh and healthy. They were willing to adjust her diet to the complex dietary rules for someone on dialysis.

I was so worried about leaving my mother anywhere, and they were unbelievable. I'm at a loss for words. They were so friendly, engaging, wonderful, caring and genuine. It was the best place my mother could have stayed in. There was always music. It was a very happy environment. The people are friendly, the yard was gorgeous, it was very, very clean. I was so worried about having to put my mom in a place, and as soon as I met them, my worries were alleviated. They are the most wonderful, knowledgeable, caring staff.…

Not a suitable match

I trusted A PLACE FOR MOM to help me to find a suitable place for my husband who has Alzheimer's Disease. I explained that he was often aggressive and could even be violent and was assured that Lafayette Residential Care could take of him. Sadly for the caregivers at Lafayette Residential Care and for my husband this was not the case - they could not manage him and within three days asked him to leave. Very nice staff

Very nice staff, clean building inside and out, and super fun activities. The thing I like about this place is that the staff genuinely seems to care about the people here. A great place that made our transition much easier.
