PositiveStaff are friendly and responsive and helpful. Plenty of activities: my mom has actually dropped out of a couple of activities so she could be back in her apartment a little more. She plays games with her friends almost every night. The rooms are fine, the costs are great. Downsides: food menu changes only every three months and the food is fine, but not spectacular. Mom got her own internet service because the free wifi is slow enough that it limits her time online.

PositiveLake Forest Village is a good community. The tour was good, but everything is so expensive. The staff was very good. She knew her job, knew how to tour, and answered all the questions. It was much cleaner than where I'm at. If something went wrong, their maintenance staff paid attention, and they got it done that day. My question to them is, if a light bulb goes out, and I call down to the front office and say, "Hey, I'm in my room, whatever, can I just come down and pick up a lightbulb?" They s…

PositiveStaff and residents were very welcoming to us with our our first visit. The food and its selections and quantity were amazing. Mom wanted a larger space and they have several options. What you get for the money is well worth it. They have good entertainment, games and trips to local venues.

PositiveI moved into Lake Forest Village. I chose them because of the attitude of all their employees here. They made you feel very comfortable. My apartment is one of the smallest ones, but it's comfortable. The food is excellent. The staff, including everyone I've interacted with, has been very helpful and polite. The facility looks like it's very well-maintained. It seems like they take pride in this place. I haven't gotten into the activities yet, but they have quite a few available to me. As for th…

PositiveI'm currently in Lake Forest Village, and it's very nice here. I'm in a cottage, and I happen to be in one that's a duplex, so I have a lady on one side of me. I have a two-bedroom with one bath, and it has storage and a nice kitchen. It's just a nice size. Then the other ones are twin homes. They're still more like a duplex, but they're a little bit bigger, and they have more yard. There are nice walkways in the lake, the food's good, and they have lots of activities. I don&…

PositiveLake Forest had a library, and they had a chapel room where you could meet for church. They had a little lake where you could be outside; that was one of the things that we really wanted. That one even had a place where you could have a garden space of your own.
