PositiveI am a resident of The Lakes at Litchfield. The community itself is beautiful. It looks like a neighborhood. It's not in a city or near a lot of industrial kinds of stuff. It's very pretty. There are lakes around. They have both single-family homes, duplexes, and apartments. They call them villas, but they're apartments, one and two bedrooms, and very roomy, plenty of room. The food is very good. Included in your monthly fee, you'll get a food stipend, and part of that covers one meal a day, or …

PositivePrivate rooms with ample space for some furniture. The facility is well-kept and is currently undergoing some rehabilitation. There are no lingering odors, and the rooms are cleaned quite frequently especially the bathrooms. The memory care staff are all caring and attend to the needs of the residence with a "smile" which can be a challenge at times. My wife has been at the Lakes for over a year and a half and I am pleased that this facility was selected. The Business Office is managed by Kara, and she ha…

PositiveMy husband and I toured the Lakes at Litchfield as we are considering a CCRC community starting with independent living. This beautiful community checked all our boxes! The cottage homes and villas are high end and beautiful, dining room, bistro, grounds, and care free lifestyle with wonderful caring staff make this a wonderful choice.

PositiveThe Lakes at Litchfield was a nice and clean facility. Everybody there was nice, and they've been working with Medicare to get my father-in-law a hospital bed there. I didn't meet very many staff, but the ones I met were very nice. They encouraged their residents to go and have conversations with each other, play games, and just have social time. They had a gym, a salon, and a pool.

PositiveMy dad will be moving into The Lakes at Litchfield. They had skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, and independent living. We needed a place that had all that. It was a beautiful community, and the staff was very, very helpful and very caring. I've been dealing with the person who handles admissions for about a month now. She has come by our house several times. They've gone out of their way to make the experience as easy as possible for us. It was kind of a basic room where my dad would be, but …

PositiveMy sister was at Lakes of Litchfield for one year. Overall we had a very good experience. Denise is exceptionally friendly and helpful with move in and move out. My sister's 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and got a lot of sunlight. Community communication is very good, as the general manager gives phone updates about many things. Repairs were performed in a timely manner and the housekeepers were awesome! Drivers were pleasant. The restaurant had several hiccups around staffing during my sister's stay b…
