CriticalThe rooms are standard size .Staff is courteous. The food is awful. They don’t monitor the patients as good as they should. The whole place smells like urine. There are better choices than this place
★★★★★
CriticalThe rooms are ok. The staff can be very slow in responding to the call button. The food is horrible. It is served cold and overcooked . Oatmeal will not fall out of the bowl when turned upside down, Cold like paste. Powdered eggs are like sand paper. Each meal they put a supposed menu on the tray but what they serve never matches that menu.

CriticalMy mom was at Lakeshore Village Nursing and Rehab, and it was horrible. They're incompetent, and they don't take care of their patients. I would never send anybody there ever. They left their patients sitting in dirty diapers and in wet beds for hours and hours. They don't even answer the call button. They put two people in a tiny little room and the only thing separating them was a curtain. The room was barely big enough for one person. The food was nasty and disgusting. She wouldn't even eat i…

CriticalMy friend stayed at Lake Shore Village Healthcare Center. I would not give them a very good review. They led us to believe that they had the approval from UnitedHealthcare, and so they immediately went down, got my friend, and put her in the nursing home. And then two days later, they came back and told us that UnitedHealthcare would not pay for the deal. I tried to get them to go through her doctor, for which I had a reference number and all for care in the nursing home, but they totally would not do that. They ca…

PositiveMy mother was a resident in the Secure Unit. We never had a single complaint about the care she received from the staff. Everyone always seemed to have the resident’s best interest in mind. They constantly worked to add value to the lives of those in their care. The facility was always clean and fresh. The social worker was kind and helpful, the receptionist was sweet, and the unit nurses and assistants were loving, hard working, and wonderful!
