I would rate everything a 4, with the exception of activities. My mom is visually impaired, and there aren’t enough accessible activities available for her. Because she can’t read the activities sheet, she often doesn’t know what is happening or when. It would also help to have an activities director who actively encourages residents to participate and helps keep them engaged. For the food I would give it a 4, it was a bit too repetitive month to month. There are plenty of activities advertised and staff did there best to get my mom to participate, but she just did not. So, I can't really rate that one. The staff is especially friendly, helpful, and concerned. They often went above and beyond to help (a special shout out to [name removed] at the front desk and [name removed] in house keeping). I would recommend this community to others.

I have nothing but good things to say about Lantern Crest. Everyone is so nice and respectful- staff and other residents. There does not seem to be much turnover of staff. I would definitely recommend it to others. Costs may be somewhat high but it's definitely worth it!

Lantern Crest Memory care was awful. My mom ended up in the ER numerous times in the 4 months she was there! It was hard to find a worker and they left the residents alone all the time!
