CriticalWe visited Lassen House Senior Living. It was almost identical to the other place. The staff who assisted me with the tour was good. It felt institutional though. The room was very uninviting. It is a shared room where they have a partition down the middle of the room. It doesn't feel like the half side of the room or the single room itself would be private. PositiveI personally have not been there, but my daughter has with her father and everything that she has told me has been excellent , The care, the staff all in all the experience has been very pleasant, considering all the circumstances that we had to deal with to get him there so thank you
★★★★★
PositiveOpen environment, staff seem to be cross trained so can answer questions regardless if in their job description. Staff seem to care about residents and engage them when see them in hallways. Need to make sure medical technicians on duty are both male and female as some of the residents are not comfortable with the opposite sex so some of ADL, grooming/bathing, physical therapy needs are not being met.

I immediately got him out of this place and moved him to [community name removed].

We liked the fact that they had a increasing level of care services to support my mother's decline in health. My first comment would be that our experience was significantly impacted by the Covid pandemic. This resulted in staffing shortages and reductions in care services. My second comment is that as health declines moving from single room to shared room is a big change. My mother was in both the memory care unit as well as…
