Do your research before putting a loved one in this facility. During the 8 months my mom was there, there was only one month where there was an Executive Director on site, we saw two different directors of nursing ( and many months without one), and there were three activity directors with time there was no one. They utilized agency staffing and when we departed the facility was under a review by the state (findings are online).

I visited this facility

I toured Lawton Senior Living. I was not impressed with it. It was more of a feeling I had when I walked to the doors. It's a smaller community and it did not have the open space like the other facility I went to. The rooms are still nice, but the open space is very minimal. The staff was trying to go with the things that they had. The one nice thing they did have was that the residents could do their laundry if they preferred to do something like that, which I thought was unique to their place, but the staff …

I would not place my Dad in a place where he didn't feel comfortable. He has been doing great since coming there. Interaction with staff has been wonderful.

we toured Lawton and thought it was nice upon first impression. we chose another community because they had immediate availability.

Assisted living & Memory care

A very loving and caring staff. The food was very tasty and well prepared. My wife was only a resident for eleven days but she was treated very well. I would highly recommend this facility.

A very positive experience for both of us

I would tell others that it is not a nursing home. It is assisted living with memory care. With that in mind, I was very impressed with the staff members here. They were very compassionate and understanding, and the value for the money was great. The food here was fantastic, and I would highly recommend to others looking.
