PositiveMy mother is moving into Lexington Country Place. It was a good fit; the price is right, and it's close to the house. The environment is very pleasant; it's affordable, and they have great staff. Very helpful, professional, and nice. She's in a studio apartment. It is not a shared room. It's very clean, nicely decorated, and this applies to all areas. They have a spacious apartment for a studio and privacy.

Positive[name removed], the admissions director, has been invaluable in making my mother’s transition to respite assisted living. She provided pertinent information about the facility and has been our point of contact when we had questions or hiccups. We have not completed a week in their care yet, so we do not have enough experience ce to provide further ratings.

CriticalMy mom, 91 yrs old, was sent to this facility after suffering a broken leg from a fall. I was disappointed from the minute I walked through the door. If you are a fairly healthy, senior , then this is a an ok place to live. If you are in need of attention and help you would be better off looking elsewhere. The rooms for skilled nursing care are small, dark and not good for someone needing assistance with personal care. The window shades were kept down and the lights off most of the times we visited. The rooms are o…

PositiveLexington Country Place was a beautiful setting. There are lots of trees. It's off of a main street so there's a lot of traffic on it, but when you go back to this, it's in a pretty setting. It's pretty spread out, but it's all on one floor. It didn't have many private rooms. It was mostly semi-private, but the lady who took us around said that my friend would have to go into a semi-private and be in it for a while before they could put her on the list for a private room. It was a brig…

PositiveWe toured Lexington Country Place, and it was good. We met the man who runs it, and he was very nice and very knowledgeable. Plus, the people were friendly there. But the building is much older. It's a very old home. It is one of the older homes made into this. They have done some remodeling and they're remodeling on some of the things. My wife liked the rooms because they were a little bit bigger than anywhere in Georgetown. She was worried about our furniture, and she was thinking that if we chose this …

PositiveMy mother has been in this facility for about 6 months and I am very pleased with her care. She has improved, and she likes the staff. They have been responsive to my questions or any problems I have brought to them. I would rate them as one of the best in Lexington and I am very happy about her living situation!
