We have found Lexington Manor at Port Charlotte. They're redoing their places there, and they think they have one available, so probably within the next week, my sister will move in. The move in process was seamless, they were extremely helpful with suggestions for movers etc. The best part about Lexington is the staff. It's a small town feeling where they all know the residents names, are always making sure everyone has what they need. The activities are amazing, they have monthly celebrations that keeps them all engaged. I looked at 5 different places in Port Charlotte and Lexington was above and beyond the perfect fit for us. I would give them 4 stars. Dining is great along with activities. No clarification on levels of care and nursing could be more involved when falls with injuries occur. Apartment size is adequate and food menu is great.
