Liana of Sarasota

Liana is understaffed and I'm not too crazy about some of the meals that are served there they don't have enough to eat their personal care is not taken care of when their clothes are washed and not return to the right person. See some bruises on the clients there and you don't know how they got them no depends in the rooms no clothes in the rooms it's supposed to be there. and the staff I don't believe are all kind to the patience.

Because my mother was quite advanced in her condition, she did not participate in the activities. I toured Liana at Sarasota recently and could tell right away this community has something special. It’s not just the beautiful Designed — it’s the energy. The team is welcoming, professional, and clearly takes pride in what they do. The residents looked happy and engaged, and the entire place had a sense of calm and comfort. You can tell the staff truly care about the people who live there, and that makes all the difference.

Staffing issues, low staff to patient ratios, poor communication, management problems. Continues to be true. The tour and sales pitch will not match the reality of the Liana experience. Beyond office hours, plan on waiting 10-15 minutes in a foyer for someone to let you in the building due to low ratios. Staff is stretched too thin.

Dysfunctional management, low staff to patient ratios outside of “sales” hours, poor activities program. As another said, management was overhauled but nothing has improved. Tours present misinformation, and most of their reviews are fake. The five star reviews on this thread are from friends of management. I did my homework. Deception is wrong but with the sick and elderly, it’s beyond wrong.
