CriticalMy wife was a patient here for almost three weeks, following a period of hospitalization. She needed both nursing care and rehab. The rehab portion was ok....physical therapy and speech therapy...though the physical therapy was a bit brief. The nursing care left much to be desired. Using the call buttons was almost useless. I learned to just go to the nursing station for help, as it might be twenty or thirty minutes before anyone responded. This was largely because of understaffing, particularly on nights and weeke…

PositiveThis facility is top notch and all departments are on the ball. My uncles nurse Liz was an absolute angel. I don’t even believe we took care of my uncle better than she did. The DON Stephanie was an absolute blessing. I’ve never seen nobody so dedicated to customer service. My uncle once told me he thought he was in a five star hotel and I believed him after seeing how well those two angels and the rest of the staff cared for him like family until the end. They was his family away from home and I’ll forever be than…

CriticalMy husband stayed at the Life Care Center of Hickory Woods. Some of the technicians were very good and caring, but some of the nursing staff were very short with their answers. He would have had to sign all of his bank …

PositiveI am writing this review to help people decide where to send their loved ones. I understand from a personal level having broken my hip and only had "stars" to help. I am extremely fortunate to have chosen the right facility. The nursing staff is always there when you need them. The therpists are dedicated to our walking again. They are the best. The food is delicious. So much so I have asked for recipes and they shared them. The rooms are large and extremely clean. Everyone is friendly and enjoys their job. I see…

PositiveMy mom stayed at the Life Care Center of Hickory Woods for rehab. That was a very good community. I like the facility itself; it was very clean and well maintained. The rooms are spacious. The staff is very, very caring. The food was good; it was very good portion size, and very tasty.

PositiveThe nursing and therapy staff at Life Care Center are First Rate!! They treated my mother-n-law very well throughout her stay. The therapists were knowledgeable and dedicated to getting her stronger. The nurses genuinely cared about her needs and were very prompt. She loved going to activities and socializing with other patients. I can’t say enough great things about this place!
