PositiveMy sister is over at Lindengrove Communities in New Berlin's nursing home. She needs a two-person assist to move from bed to a chair. Her mind is fairly good, but her body's not in good shape as she had a stroke. She's been there for two years, and she's gotten good care, and it's a high level of care. Once she went on Medicaid, she had to share a room, and it's very tight. She has her TV and a chair, so in case we go to visit her, we can sit in her chair. They do move her to a chair o…

PositiveMy mom is in LindenGrove Communities in New Berlin, in memory care. She has a lot of health issues with diabetes and her heart and her lungs and she's getting very good care, and she's very happy there. The food is easy to chew. I notice if I take her out and we're walking in, she feels like she's at home and that's a gift to me. It's a beautiful facility. It's new, and we feel lucky to be there, and they're very good with their maintenance. They have two activity directors a…

CriticalMy mother is currently living in the new assisted living wing and we are getting her out as quick as we can. They are short staffed and most of the aides are mean and nasty to the residents. The food is always cold and it's terrible. There's a new administrator that can't make changes fast enough. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. It's terrible and not safe.
★★★★★
CriticalShort staffed with incompetent care givers. My mother was admitted for rehab post hospital inpatient. She complained for 3 days that her feet hurt from the swelling that she couldn't walk but they made her walk anyway and didn't even check her feet. The day before discharge the swelling in her feet and legs was so bad that the fluids were breaking through her skin leaving puddles on the floor and soaking her bed and THEY STILL DID NOTHING! At discharge, with the fluids pooling at her feet they rushed thro…

CriticalLindenGrove Communities in New Berlin was chaotic. It was a larger facility and when we walked in, the woman who was at the door checking people in was running around like a crazy person. The residents were like hanging out in the hallways and the room that we were shown, (which was the only room that they had available) had dirty linens on the floor. It was very dark and tiny. None of the rooms had showers in them. They have to wheel the residents to a community showering space, which to me, just breeds the potent…

CriticalLinden Grove New Berlin is terrible. The rooms are okay, but nothing great. Staff's response time to a call light is 30+ minutes. Just awful when someone needs assistance. They just don't care about the residents. The food is also terrible. Holy cow, worst food I ever tasted. Had to get my loved one out of there to another facility, but he was there 2 weeks. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
