The experience for the most part has been very good. It's a place of comfort for the residents. A few bumps here and there but overall good. [name removed] the house manger is amazing and is very caring, kind and attentive to the residents needs. He is also a great cook and provides great dinners for the residents. The other staff members care is good for the most part but a few are better than others and you are going to find that in most facilities. Some are just more caring and attentive than the others are. …

The day staff was great and very helpful. I was there every day as after nearly 68 years he didn't want me to leave. As for the night staff I don't know he complained about never answered his bell ringing but I don't know as I wasn't there. I really didn't have a problem with anything over there. At [age removed] I was not able to care for him at home.

They were really great! I was there most every day and knew the daytime staff and became friends. They had a Hoyer lift as my husband could not get out of bed with out being hoisted. It was also closer to my home in south Austin and the only facility that could accommodate him.

My loved one is a resident at Live Oak Estates. The facility is nice and the staff are friendly. Communication has been good. Overall, I would recommend it, yes, especially for someone who is still a little independent but in need of daily assistance.
