CriticalHere's the issue: administration of facility changed within weeks of moms residing there, from nonprofit to for profit. Ever after that, communication regarding billing and requests to fix heating cooling in moms room were extremely poor. Bills always needed correction on their end. Failed to address facility challenges. Here's the other thing though, this facility is staffed with caring beautiful people.

CriticalIf you had asked me 2 weeks ago I would have given all of these a rating of 4 or 5. It was a great place for my mom. However, a new company took over and families are scrambling to relocated their loved ones elsewhere. With what's going on now, I'd give each of these a low rating now. A New company took over, laid off most of the staff (although complying with state regs of 1 staff per 15 residents), increased prices by 10%, trying to move assisted-living/memory-care residents into skilled nursing (because NM is no…

PositiveI visited and it was fine to me. It's a little bit older facility. It looks like a nice facility in a nice location. The admitting staff there worked to try to make things happen. The rooms were okay and some of them have nice views, it's more dated compared to the other facility I saw. The director worked with me to try to figure out potential options and was very helpful.
★★★★★
CriticalMy mother liked it here. It was close to her house, and the rooms were very nice. It's like a hotel size room, but very adequate. The dining area seemed very nice. The atmosphere was very open and very friendly. They had a lot of activities such as movies, games, and socials.
★★★★★
PositiveI put my friend in here. The climate of the place is warm and homey. It has a little fire place and a beautiful library. It is smaller and feels manageable, not confusing. He saw some of the units and felt like they were the right size. He feels like they are well arranged and likes the layout and the people he meets. The facilities and the general look is clean and approachable. It feels new and comfortable there.
