We frequently visited Luther Acres. We have a relative there. She was in independent living with her husband. He passed away, and now she's in personal care, but it was all done seamlessly. It's a great facility. Her room is small, but that is more due to her own choices. She moved from a pretty nice-sized cottage to there. The food had lots of variety. Independent living is great, unfortunately skilled care is not. Takes 30 minutes to a hour to get help. Nurses sit at the station while residents wait - supervisor too. Labs done but not followed up on unless the family pushes. Medical staff are not always attentive to needs and lack common sense when giving bad news. Wounds are not uncommon. Medication issues, missed transports and appointments. If you are a strong advocate and persistent you should be ok, but if you are not, look elsewhere. Don’t bother managemen…

We are going to be moving into Luther Acres. Everything is neat and clean. It is not too big and not too small. We like the layout of the apartments. We also like the fact that, as a non-profit, if you should run out of money, they can't kick you out. The rooms look great. All their different facilities look wonderful. I toured Luther Acres Lititz, PA. I like the location and the attitude of everybody at the organization. Everybody seems very knowledgeable. They're willing to work with you, and the premises are nice. Some of them aren't the biggest in the world, but they are what you can afford. So it is nice. They have so many different things. Luther Acres Lititz, PA was lovely and very nice. It's within my price range. We made an appointment to see the marketing director. I had to fill out paperwork to just give them some idea about me. I think they want to evaluate how you are physically and then financially, whether or not, you have the finances that they expect you to have. Luther Acres is the one I would like to get into. It's very clean, and they're very efficient. They have a lot of amenities. They have bus trips, and you get so much a month for food to eat in their dining room. They have a church, a barber, a doctor, and a hairdresser right on the premises. The staff is very efficient, very courteous, and very nice.
