The Woods at Cedar Run

Horable place to live.

I moved in on a very warm day and there was NO air conditioning available. No Resident Ambassador came by to help me get settled in. The way meals were provided was VERY CONFUSING. The plumbing is broken. My close washing machine did not work properly. No cold water. Had to fill a bucket at the kitchen sink and carry it to the washing machine. The close dryers are VENTED INTO the wash room and then the rest of the appartment. YUCK!! Activities are set up for very old people. I am in my early 60s and found very few …

The Woods at Cedar Run is a hidden gem. The grounds are exceptional and the facility has all the amenities you could ask for. The Community Relations Director greeted us and gave us the tour. The units were of comfortable size and had nice views of the property. Many trees keep the venue quiet and peaceful. The meal plans, activity options and club organizations are amazing. One can be as active as you wish.

Friendly and caring staff

The staff is amazing. The food is much better than where she was before. She hasn't had an UTI but she is taken care of . The apartment is clean and nice. Like I said the staff is amazing and so caring. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are searching for care for their loved one.

Great tour. Staff and tour guide were very informative. Lots of great activities and very close to our home. We loved the independent areas and dining room. When we went to the assisted living floor, it looked more like a hospital. That area seemed cramped, dining room depressing. Actual room very small and no modern updates. We found a one bedroom assisted living built in 2017, modern, spacious and $[removed] less per month. Care prices were comparable to other facilities.

The Woods is nestled in a picturesque wooded area with Cedar Creek behind it. There is plenty of wildlife to be viewed from the common dining room windows and from balconies facing onto Cedar Creek. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The residents seem to be very content there. The interior is kept very clean and the grounds outside look well trimmed. The Woods has a wonderful outside area where families can get together with their loved ones and have a cookout.

Pleased with a big a price tag and heavy family involvement.

Room sizes are generous in a 2 bedroom. Care overnight has been somewhat of an issue. The activities are enjoyable for my mother-in-law. Staff is responsive when needs are expressed. The price is significant.
