I visited the assisted living facility of Manor on the Hill. I like that the people we met were all very friendly, and some of the residents were also very happy to provide their input on what it's like living there. That was a very good one. They seemed happy and well cared for. Everybody I met was very helpful. It was a former hotel, and I think they just didn't do enough to make the community spaces adapt to the new use. We were very impressed with the Manor on the Hill. The location was spotlessly clean, and everyone was really nice. I loved the fact that they had individual rooms, and they call them apartments. I wanted to sign up for one. It really is an excellent place. No matter where we went, the staff was pleasant, smiling, and helpful. It was very nice. I did not sample the food, but I was talking to a wife whose husband is there, and she said the food was fabulous. They did offer snacks, but we had just had lunch. When you…

Since my parents have moved from their home of 61 years to Manor on the Hill, it has been nothing short of a miracle. They were two elderly people who had outlived their "companionship" and could no longer coexist or take care of the multitude of chores that accompany any home ownership.
