Over priced and not full service.

Found the right place.

After visits to 2 facilities that I found acceptable but my uncle rejected & a tour of an independent living facility which didn't provide for enough of his needs, my uncle & I found Marbella Chico, recommended by A Place for Mom.

As far as our experience with Marbella, I would give them a 4+. As for what my mother in-law, she would say a 1-2. Her current situation is that she doesn't realize the situations that she is capable of getting herself into are very dangerous. If we could put her on an island with all the freedom to come and go as she pleases. She is really struggling with the restrictions of not being able to leave the grounds. [Name Removed] was very helpful with describing the amenities of the facility. Her experience and knowledge of the staff and their level of experience, helped put my concerns to rest.

Unexpected requirements

Since I am out of state, I thought Marbella would assist me more with caring for my uncle. I can't be there to take him to doctor appointments & making sure that his sheets are changed every week. He will tell the workers that he doesn't need anything done but I disagree. My uncle is being cared for. The employees are wonderful. I just have the usual family guilt.
