Mary Ann Morse at Heritage

I looked at three or four places, and I thought that Mary Ann Morse at Heritage seemed pretty homey, and the room size was good. A lot of the places I saw only had a studio or a bedroom, and I felt like that would be too much of a transition coming from your own home. From the accommodations' perspective, my stepmom has a good-sized bedroom at Mary Ann Morse at Heritage, a good-sized living space, and a big bathroom and everything. We had a great tour experience with Mary Ann Morse and thought it was a nice facility and the staff were wonderful and gave a great tour. It was just not the right fir for my loved one.

Mary Ann Morse is a little old and worn looking, but very homey, and clearly everybody loves being there. There were lots of activities going on. In the memory unit, they were really engaged in a program, and it was very spontaneous, so it seemed like a very accurate depiction. The staff was very engaged with the residents. I could see them interacting, calming some people, and engaging with them in activities. The facility is spread out so that you have to go through a lot of corridors to go to the memory unit. It…

The community has an older resident group and there are not a lot of younger seniors. The communication between the staff and the family could be better. The nurses are very quick to return our calls but management is where the struggle is at.

I visited for my mom. I liked it very much and they were very nice. Since my mother had a fall everything's on hold, but they were very nice, and it was a positive experience. The room was small, but it was clean, and pretty well kept. The bathroom was good. Everything is pretty limited with COVID so I didn't stay that long. I liked it a lot. It's a very nice and friendly place. The staff was very nice. I liked the common rooms a lot. The dining area, the living rooms, the outdoor space and indoor space were all great. The rooms were a little small though. The dining area looked very nice. The staff has been there for a long period of time, and they had multiple chefs.
