I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My grandfather couldn’t get the help he needed in a timely manner or at all in some cases. He needed a shower bench and assistance with his shower and someone came and took his shower bench from his restroom. He also wouldn’t get his morning meds until sometimes noon. The nurses would be on their cell phones with personal calls for sometimes 30 minutes. He is not happy here at all and is struggling with the choice to stay or not because he wants his therapy but not all the other things. He didn’t come here to be st…

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My wife was transferred from the Waxahachie hospital to this facility 3 weeks ago (March 2020). Almost 18 upper management people came to introduce themselves (most of them should be replaced with patient-care employees instead of paper-pushers) and I filled out about 30 pages of entrance forms. The beautiful lobby and courtyard is where the owner spent the money, not the patient rooms, which were stark and depressing. Most of her 2-week stay was in lock-down, because of Coronavirus, so I couldn't see her. She…

This is a wonderful facility that cares about its residents. They took such great care of my mother and I was so happy we found MHC. The admin staff helped my family through all necessary steps needed for her to stay in their facility. The day to day care of the nursing staff was amazing. There were several nurses and aides that went the extra mile caring for my mother and making her comfortable. The administration, therapy and nursing staff care about families, residents and each other. I would highly recommend th…

I visited this facility

Midlothian Healthcare Center was absolutely beautiful, and it probably would be my choice. First of all, it is close to my house, and the facility itself was just beautiful. I’m not sure that they have a total lockdown, and that’s going to be a bit of an issue because my father can get away. The people were very nice, but I didn’t see a lot of the caregivers. The facility was clean and organized.
