Milan Villa Senior Living

Very friendly staff and nice building. I came here recently because my mother lives close by and we have been looking into nearby places. The team there makes you feel like family and truly cared for.

I felt compelled to write a review for Milan Villa after having such a wonderful experience touring their community a few weeks back. I have worked in senior living communities for over 18 years and every once in a while I find a special place. What made Milan Villa stand out was its people. Yes, the buildings were emasculate, the residents were obviously well cared for, (yes you can tell quite quickly just look at their hair, wheel chairs, shoes, nails and you will find big differences between buildings) but it wa…

When I visited Milan Villa it was someone's birthday. They were getting ready to have a tea party. Some residents were helping set up but many were encouraging the other residents to get ready for the party. They were all so excited. The party was full of laughter and toasts. You can tell that the staff treat the residents like family and create personal ties to them. When you walk into Milan Villa it is a beautiful building full of light.... and love.

When walking into Milan Villa, I noticed how supportive the staff and the front desk were to visitors and residents. There were a number of caregivers engaging with the residents or enjoying the social spaces after breakfast in the dining room. It was nice to see how comfortable the residents are, which is a clear indicator that Milan Villa truly is their home!

This is one of the places I toured when we were looking. I really liked the way that they dealt with the residents there. I like it better than where Mom is now, but she has a history, and friends there. I don't think we are going to move, but it was a nice place.

Facility was clean and the residents seemed to enjoy the interaction with the staff. My only concern was that there was a small cup of pills left on the counter when we checked in prior to our tour. Not sure what that was about but I hope a resident didn't miss taking their medications.
