PositiveMiller Personal Care was very nice. It was a little bit more expensive than the other place was, but it was reasonable. It was still less than what I'm paying. I guess if I felt that I needed more personal care, that would be a good place. It wasn't the independent living that we looked at. The staff showed us more of where we would have service in the room if we needed it and more healthcare in the immediate area, which at this point I don't need. It was very clean. You could see that they take spec…

PositiveI'm leaning towards Phoebe Allentown. They were very, very nice, I filled up all the applications, gave them the documents they wanted. The apartments were much smaller than what I have here. They have transportation, one meal a day, socialization and activities, and in their continuing care they have assisted living down the street and nursing home. It was clean and it is maintained, there's no problem there. The staff was very wonderful.

PositivePhoebe Home is very nice. We saw the apartments, which were also very nice. We had a very nice lunch there, and the gentleman was absolutely wonderful, informative, and very friendly. They have a barber shop, beauty salon, and all sorts of activities, like bus trips to go shopping.

PositivePhoebe Allentown was very nice. It also has a very good reputation for the people that stayed there, but it’s older, so it's not as pretty. They have picnics. It’s a very nice location as it’s close to a number of things in Allentown. The food was fine. They are very good in the nursing home and memory care. They were very top of the line, and they do a lot of very progressive things.

PositiveThe staff at Phoebe Home was very nice. They didn’t try to push me into getting it, that’s what a lot of them do; they left it up to me. They didn’t rush me at all and they answered any questions I had. It could have been a little better but I can’t complain because they were helpful when they can be. They’re so busy sometimes you didn’t get the attention that you really needed, but they were pretty good. I was really happy with them. The place is clean all the time. They’re always doing some sort of cleaning - mop…

CriticalMy grandmother was admitted to Phoebe Home in Wernersville after leaving the hospital for a fall. She was not in a good state to begin with when leaving the hospital, and in my opinion, should not have left their care. However, even in the poor condition she was in, Pheobe Home accepted responsibility of her care (probably because they wanted the money). The staff did not give her the care she needed. They often did not know how she was doing when we came to visit and took an hour or more to get any answers. They d…
