CriticalThey had no idea what they were doing when my mom went here for rehab for a foot surgery. One day I could SMELL her foot after they had told me they’d never used a wound vac before. Yeah. They said “oh we noticed that. We’ll elevate her leg tonight.” People. She’d be dead. I took her straight to the ER. She had to have her leg REMOVED the next day. They never spoke to us again. DO NOT PUT A LOVED ONE HERE. Unskilled staff with zero accountability.

CriticalMasonic Home is one of the WORST nursing homes. My boyfriend's mom was there for about a year after having a hip replacement surgery. The doctor that performed the surgery said that she should NOT be in a sitting position. Many times my boyfriend went to visit and his mom was found IN A SITTING POSITION whether on the toilet or in a wheelchair. He said to many staff members that she was NOT to be sitting, but they either didn't understand English or didn't pass it along to other staff. The doctor tha…

PositiveIf a loved one has to go to a rehab or long-term care facility, there is nowhere they will get better care. The facility is wonderful. The grounds are beautiful. And the best part is the staff. My wonderful wife of 59 years recently passed away at Masonic. For the last five years she had been in and out of Masonic a great number of times. Late last year she was in transitional care, and finally was transferred to long-term. Neither of us could have coped with what she went through without the amazing people at Maso…

PositiveMy mom is at Minnesota Masonic Home Bloomington. She is under quarantine, so we haven't heard much of the community. They've kept her separate because of her surgery and she doesn't have the vaccination. The place is very clean, and the people are fabulous. There are activities, but she can't participate. There are community outreach things that they do things for the whole community. There are a lot of things that are kind of closed due to COVID like a little store that's not accessible to…

PositiveI'm in Minnesota Masonic Home Bloomington, it's a rehab place. It's very, very clean, has a pleasant atmosphere, and the nurses and aides are good people. I have my food delivered to my room. They bring you a menu every day so you can pick from it. The food is very good. There's a lot of walking but they also have the rowing machine, bicycles, and several other types of rehab equipment. For entertainment, I believe once or twice a month; they do a show or have someone come in and do something.

PositiveMy 90 year old mother was sent here after a stay at Fairview Southdale to the Transisitional Care Unit to recover from surgery. The care has been excellent and incredible. All members of the staff treated her with dignity, compassion, and intensive care that covered all areas of rehab. The food was excellent, the rooms adequate, and the level of professionalism outstanding, I would like to thank all who contributed to my mom's care!
