Went to see a triend today. Broke my heart hearing how miserable the residents are. I walked by the dining room. Seemed like all the staff was in the hooting and hollaring have a good ole time. But the residents sitting out front and in the halls look so sad. Over heard several residents talking about how they are treated, staff refusing to take them to their appointments, food is no good, sitting in filth for hours waiting for a staff member to care enough to come help, staff rude and mean to residents. Our experience

I am very disappointed in the staff. The only person who seemed to care about my aunts care plan was [name removed] and we haven't seen her in over a week. They do not help her take the dog outside and that's part of her care plan nor do they make sure she showers at least once a week. Her laundry and trash are not washed or emptied consistently. I've only seen the room cleaned and mopped once in the 2 months she's been there.

A Dementia patient was dropped off for a doctor's appointment UNATTENDED. We had to search for her.

Not a good place for my mom

My mom was in memory care here for just under a year. This was not a good place for her. Reasons: 1) Poorly staffed and some of the staff had piercings and tattoos covering their faces and arms - what do you think a person with dementia thinks of this appearance, scary would be my guess, especially if those people used harsh language and had harsh reactions towards the resident. Has room for improvement

After being at Morada for several months, I can give a honest observation. Morada has a wonderful facility and the staff genuinely care for the residents. Unfortunately there are not enough staff to adequately serve the residents. I have observed many residents needing to be changed out of wet diapers that should have been changed several times. The laundry staff can not keep up with the residents needs so I have been bring laundry home. Hope this sheds light on some issues and help can come soon. I have talked w…
