I visited this facility

I toured Mountain Meadows. I like the price. The monthly rent is affordable for Social Security recipients. The place is very nice. They have wonderful community facilities. The apartments are quite nice. The living room is small, but the kitchen is nice. And one master bedroom is very nice with a bathroom. They don't provide food though. It's close to the village, so it's within walking distance of restaurants and stores. They have classes at the place. I took quilting there. There's a quilting…

A beautiful setting, but definitely some considerations to move here

It is a nice place in the mountains. It is at a high altitude and some people have a hard time with that. The brochure that they give out is not up to date at all and a lot of the information on there is incorrect. Transportation can be a little bit of a problem and is unreliable. Overall it has been a harder adjustment for me, I would recommend them but there are a lot of things to consider depending on your health. There are no activities or food services provided, it is just an apartment complex.

I visited this facility

Mountain Meadows is a subsidized senior housing and was a very nice facility. The rooms are very reasonable and about percent less than other rentals here. It is for those with restricted income. They have a reading room and lovely kitchens with dining areas that can be used by residents for parties and things. Each unit is one bedroom and is self-contained. I seriously considered moving there but it meant significant downsizing. The staff seemed very kind and I knew a lot of people who moved there.
