MuirWoods Memory Care

Our tour was an excellent experience. We were warmly welcomed on arrival. An introduction to the facility and the tour was expertly conducted by [name removed]. I was impressed with how friendly and professional the staff were, and how each took a moment to offer a smile and a warm greeting. The time with [name removed] was well-spent and very informative. The facility and grounds were pleasing and clean.

There is a choice of shared or private apt;private cost more;room rate is only for room; you provide all furniture—bed, dresser, chair, mirror; 8 levels of care based upon staff evaluation in addition to room rent; 2 separate dining areas for guests able to feed themselves & those needing more assistance in eating; huge enclosed patio to walk outdoors; accommodating to meal choices/restrictions.

I liked MuirWoods Memory Care. It was excellent. It was just too far. If it had been closer, I would have picked them. Sean, the sales director, was so good at what he did. They were so helpful and kind. They gave me some cookies, and that almost sold me. It's beautiful, so clean, so quiet, and so professional. The size of the rooms was good. There was a courtyard, and the rooms go all around the courtyard on the perimeter. It's very convenient.

My mom moved to MuirWoods Memory Care. The staff is very helpful, very pleasant, and courteous. The food is nutritious and tastes fine. It's a good size room, plenty of space, and clean. They always try to keep the residents busy. They have some crafts, and they do bingo. One day, I was there, and they had balloon volleyball.

Research to ensure the facility is a good fit for your family member

I would tell others looking to make sure and speak to the current residents family members to get a full understanding of care and time provided to the residents before moving in. It all depends on the needs of the family member if this facility is a good fit.
