PositiveMy father is in North County for a couple of months now. They have different types of rooms, there’s studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. The staff is excellent, accommodating, very friendly, and very helpful. He has no complaints with the food. They have a lot of exercise classes. They take them out in a van to Walmart, stores, they do movie nights, karaoke, and played music.

CriticalI was not impressed with North County Assisted Living. I had trouble finding the correct place. When I got there, the person that was supposed to meet me was not there, so I just got a really quick walk-through. I was not impressed. It didn’t seem very well organized. I didn’t see a whole lot of the facility, and what I did see was just mediocre. I was not impressed with this place. It looked like an old school building.

PositiveThey have done a good job. When we have had issues and had to deal with things, the nursing staff, and especially the supervisor, has done a good job resolving them. It is just sometimes it's frustrating when I have to bring the same issue up more than once. They are always willing to be helpful. When we have brought up little things with the food, they have been willing to accommodate his preferences. It's very small, only about 20 residents, so they are able to accommodate a little more.
