PositiveMy dad does like it there. We are generally happy with his care there. Yes, we would recommend North Georgia Assisted Living to other families.

PositiveWe went to North Georgia Assisted Living for a tour. It looked very clean. It looked very updated. The rooms were nice size, but I know my mother would never want the double room and she would only want the single room. It was a little bit low light and kind of dreary in the area where they were eating. But there were plenty of places to lounge and it looked like there was a lot to do as the social director had things planned for the people. It seemed nice enough. The staff who gave the tour was the dietitian becau…

CriticalMake sure that you are on top of things and visiting and advocate for your loved ones. The staff who were here when my loved one was here you had to make sure to stay on top of them. I wrote a letter and they did not do much about it - I was disappointed. They left her in her diaper for a very very long time. They always left her in her bed or would leave her in her wheelchair for hours. I would not recommend them to others until they change their management. I know they changed out the executive director but the m…

PositiveI've always been very satisfied with North Georgia Assisted Living. Everybody's very attentive. My mom has been very happy, too, which means a lot to me. She is in a semi-private room. So, she has her own bedroom, and then she shares a bathroom. They've been very accommodating with her. They have quite a bit of entertainment. Due to COVID, we could not go in like we used to, but the big thing is, my mother has been very satisfied there. She loves the food, it's in a good location, it's alwa…

PositiveEveryone at North Georgia Assisted Living was very friendly and very nice. They invited us to bring mom back to have lunch. We did, and the food was good. The place was very clean, very well-kept, nicely landscaped, and has plenty of parking. They have onsite physical therapy. They have activities daily. There is a television room where they can all watch TV together or have a movie night. They have activities planned out each day, each morning, and afternoon. They have religious services, a barbershop, and a beaut…

PositiveThis was the newest facility we saw. It was really pretty and very nice. I didn’t get to eat the food, but they had a lot more space here - bigger dining areas and recreation areas. When you walk into the lobby, it's really pretty. I met some of the people, and all of them seemed happy. The lady who took us on the tour was very helpful. She did a great job.
