The tour at North Pointe of Archdale was okay. The lady who gave us the tour wasn't very sure of herself. She couldn't answer some of our questions, like even the cost. We didn't like the facility. Every single room had low ceilings, and the rooms were small. None of the residents were out and about, and no one was interacting. Everyone just stayed in their room all the time. I thought they could have done a better job with taking care of my mother-in-law's appearance. The staff were always friendly and were good to my mother-in-law. I thought they could have done a little better keeping up with the hygiene of the residents. The price is about right in the middle; pretty average.

I am concerned about the care of the patients in the memory unit. There is not enough staff and many of them who are working seem to be on cellphones. Management needs to be better.

I am the daughter in-law of my husband's mother who is a resident of NP of Archdale. In April, 2018 her son and i checked his {now 97 yr old} mother in a two room suite there. There were quite a few adjustments that she has had to make this past year because she had always been a hard working independent person, living alone since the late 1970's. My friend moved into North Pointe of Archdale and he’s doing really good so far. He’s in therapy, and I take him out once in a while to shop a little. The apartment is fine, it’s spacious, they serve meals, and they keep the place clean. The staff is really helpful.

I visited this facility

North Pointe of Archdale was OK, but I didn't think it would be a good fit for my mom. The staff was very nice. The place was clean. One thing I didn’t like was that four people will be sharing one bathroom. The exercise room was really small and outdated.
