My sister moved to North Port Pines. I love it because it's clean, no smell, and the people are very nice and very professional. The meals were good. I tasted the food and everything. I liked the taste of the food and it was very satisfying. The staff was very helpful and very loving to all the patients. The amenities looked like a hotel. They have bingo, they have ball games, and they watch TV. The young people come in and mingle with the older people.

My mother moved into North Port Pines. I like everything about it. It's clean. They're caring. She likes the food, it's good and hot. They do her laundry. They make sure she has her meds. It's a beautiful place. They have a variety of activities. They do have bingo, movie nights, music, karaoke, game nights, and they even have outings where they can go out to a restaurant. North Port Pines was a great facility. Mom had a room by herself, but she didn't even stay the night there. She was only there for two hours, and she fell in the bathroom. I liked the place. I liked the accommodations and the people were fine. The staff was great. Every time I was there, they were always doing something with the residents. They had an outside area. They were going to do a Veteran's Day thing over there for all the veterans they got in there. Restaurants are just right down the street and …

I visited this facility

I visited North Port Pines independent living facility, but it's got assisted living as well. It was very nice and I like it. The staff was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. They had Bingo, outings, and transportation to physician appointments. If they need help, there's always somebody available. It was very clean and organized, and I saw no clutter.

We toured this community which is the older version of the Gardens of Northport. It does not have the wider hallways but is very well decorated and accommodating for the residents. The staff was friendly and this community is very clean and maintained. The menu was appealing and they offered a variety of great activities. This community would not allow residents to bring a pet from home.

I visited this facility

My wife has been there over 3 months and she is in late stages of dementia. Frankly, she is tough to handle. Pauline[GM] and her staff do a excellent job...actually going beyond!. Very clean and food excellent. Have thoroughly checked out other "homes"; they don't compare. I highly recommend. Ron G.
