We toured Oak Park Place at Albert Lea. It was good, but it's not what we're looking for. The rooms were too small, and the upkeep was fair. The dining area was fine. It was just typical, and the parking lot was small.

I visited this facility

Oak Park Place at Albert Lea was very nice and well-kept. The people were very nice; they showed me a nice tour. They've contacted me several times. The apartments were very nice. I had no problem with them at all. I did not sample the food, but the dining area was very nice, clean, and well taken care of. They had quite a few different activities from bingo to bowling or whatever. They do a weekly thing where they take them out on a bus and go around town, they let them go shopping and stuff like that.

Very nice facility

It is a very nice facility and very clean. They are adding more activities which is great. The room sizes in memory care are great. I feel my mother in law's room is quite large comparatively speaking.

We are looking ahead to the time when our mother will need to leave her home. We toured Oak Park Place in Albert Lea, MN and were very impressed. Sindi explained all our options and gave us a great tour! My in-laws lived there for a few years are were treated so well. They loved it there and loved the people who cared for them. Oak Park Place is at the top of our list.

This facility has been a godsend to our family. Not only is my mother there so is my aunt (her sister). You are always greeted when you stop by to visit with your family. The apartments are generous and kept clean. The food is good and they accommodate dietary needs. The maintenance staff is very helpful. The one feature I appreciate is the van being able to take them to the clinic for their appointments. I don't have to try to get them in my car. I can meet them at the clinic!
