My mom was only at Oakmont for a couple of weeks while waiting for her permanent placement at [facility name removed]. At Oakmont, San (director) was a lifesaver in navigating the transition from the SNF. He made a really stressful time much easier.

We visited the memory care at Oakmont of Concord for my husband and the assisted living for myself. The people seemed friendly, and they talked to me. What I liked least was that morale seemed low as I heard no laughter. When we had lunch, I asked one of the ladies if she had any problems with the place, and she said there are a lot of complainers. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, answered all the questions, and showed us around. The food was good. I had a salad, and my son had the salmon, and he said it …

PositiveVery nice place…staff is extremely attentive to the residents….very friendly place….we wanted to visit in order to see their 2 bedroom/2 bath unit….it was excellent….we aren’t ready to make a move yet, but our choice will be between this location and the Coterie in San Francisco as it stands today….Coterie is much more expensive but has features that are appealing to us, such as a gym and a heated pool….it will be a tough choice….
