PositiveCaring Place for My Parents
I never imagined that my parents would need to be in a nursing home, but when my dad was diagnosed with dementia and my mom with cancer, I realized that I could not care for them. I am thankful that I found Oliver Woods. The staff is professional and caring. As difficult as all of this has been, I am comforted by knowing that my parents are safe and have many people that genuinely care for them. Oliver Woods has not just been an institution for my parents, it has been a home.

PositiveWonderful Care for My Father
Dad is 93 and has Alzhiemers and dementia. He has been living at Oliver Woods for just over a year, and he (and myself and mom) are 100% pleased with the care and attention he has received there. The facility offers many activities that he can participate in, and also, there are wonderful animal visits, from rabbits and dogs (of all sizes), to miniature horses! Dad loves these animal visits, and is especially pleased with all the attention the caregivers offer him. It's a fantastic place to be!

A nice place with many dedicated people. Overall good food and lots of activity options. Administration is involved in the day to day operations. The care staff is patient, and willing to help with anything. We just had a week long special event that was great with activities, decorations, food. The activities staff put a lot of work into it.

When my 93-year-old father's Alzheimers and dementia started to become a real problem a year ago, we were concerned about finding a good place where he could live and be cared for around the clock. We chose Oliver Woods in Owosso, and I cannot praise this facility highly enough. Run wonderfully by Carla LaMarr, with super assistance from folks like Zoie Martinez, Christi, Lilly, and too many others to name... they have all moved mountains to make my dad feel comfortable.
