CriticalMy dad was in Ollie Steele Burden Manor Nursing Facility. I liked the physical therapy staff. They were very helpful. My dad was actually in skilled care for a month and then he went into respite care after that. The skilled care was wonderful. That wing was great. The workers were great. They took very good care of my dad. Pleasant and upbeat, and the physical therapy group was very good. But when we moved to the other side, which was considered respite, short-term, or long-term, we weren't sure what we were …

PositiveWe're very pleased with Ollie Steele Burden Manor Nursing Facility, the physical therapy especially was excellent. My mother-in-law has been there since December. The staff was very good, the facility was very clean and they're very caring. We were pleased with the experience. She eats in her room, but she says that the food is very good. Physical therapy is mainly the shining star for me, it was the most outstanding. She's improved enough to go home, it's remarkable how they've helped her …

CriticalPlease, do not put yourself or your loved one in this facility. No management overseeing this facility so it’s pretty much being operated by the most unqualified, uncaring, uneducated group of staff that has attitudes of don’t ask because we’re not complying to your needs. After complaining to the staff about our concerns that our mother’s needs were not being met, the staff started treating us (her family) with total disrespect and tried to tell us what they thought our mother’s needs were and those needs were thi…

CriticalThis facility was once a very nice place for senior care. Not any longer. Care is below standard now. CNAs are negligent for most part and have no respect for patients. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Once the nuns were no longer in charge, this place went downhill and care became victim to profits! Do not put your loved one here!

CriticalNursing staff don't read discharge summaries concerning your medical needs and treatment. Nurses become indignant when you try to help them understand something about your medical needs and treatment. They resent the patient or family member for having more knowledge because they don't read the history. CNA's complain everytime you need changing, especially if it's before their every "2 hour" rounding time. They are severely understaffed which causes a delay in getting assistance when needed. Nurses would run behi…
