I like the layout of Orchard Pointe at Terrazza. I liked everything about it, the area that it was in, and the lady that showed us around. It was very cheerful. The rooms were very nice. They're pretty much updated and clean. The whole facility is very clean. The dining area was great, and it was very nice. It was quiet, you didn't get a lot of noise from the other parts of the community, so you could have a conversation in the dining room and not be disturbed by others. Not the right fit

I think it is more of a place for those who are in good shape and are more active and can get around easily. Unfortunately that was not the case for my loved one so it just was not the right fit. I would totally recommend them for more active individuals though.

A great place for mom

I love the staff here at Orchard Pointe. Although they don't clean my moms room as often I'd like, its still a very clean community and I think the residents get great meals. I am very disappointed in one of their selling points that there would be activities every hour. In fact, there really isn't ever any activities. I had to go to the director, who is new and still learning everyone. She was very nice about it and said it's one of the things she will be working on. Orchard Pointe is an absolutely beautiful, gorgeous, brand new facility. The gal who showed us around was very nice and spent 2 hours with us answering all of our questions and explaining things. We did not feel any pressure from them at all which was nice. They did not have subsidized living here and we knew if she moved in we would have to move her out in about a year because it just would not be sustainable for us.

We've chosen Orchard Pointe at Terrazza. We liked the staff and the amenities. They had a heated pool available, and they were very courteous to my mother who's 92. The amenities for level 1 included a lot of the things that we need at this point. The rooms were certainly bigger than the other rooms we were looking at. They met all our needs at the present time. It's a beautiful facility.
