Our Home - Fairborn

Thanks to Ashley Co for resolving any issues we have with our Mom, Wanda L. who is a resident at Fairborn Our Home. Our Mom will be 95 next month and has been a resident for almost 3 years. She enjoys all the activities especially Friday happy hour and Bingo. Such a relief to know your loved one is cared for and safe. Appreciate all if you, Vicky T. and Michelle P.

I am totally satisfied with the care my Mom receives at Our Home Fairborn Ohio. My Mom is 94 and absolutely loves the staff and care she is provided with. If you have a love one that can not live alone or needs daily care please ask for a tour with Kim.

Review for Fox Run Senior Living

The dining experience is nice compared to other places. I gave them a 4 simply because they should have something to improve upon from a ratings scale. There is a nice 24/7 cafe area where guests and residents in the facility may grab snacks as they wish which I really appreciated from a self-care perspective in trying to balance life/work and time spent focusing on elderly care. Everything else was a great experience. The staff there was excellent and so compassionate.

The staff is very friendly, calling everyone by name. They are very friendly to family and friends visiting, also. The housekeeping keeps the main areas very clean. The residents' rooms could use a little more TLC. But I realize you can't always keep ahead of some of the residents spilling things. I am kept up to date every time my brother, who lives at "Our Home", falls and if he has hurt himself. The move -in was easy and under the Fox Run company. Do your research and ask questions

At the time my mom lived there, which may not be the case now, they were heavily staffed with floating or pool nurses. Most were not familiar with my mother's condition or needs and she repeatedly had to convey this information to new staff on each shift. Communication and follow through was not good from one shift to the next. Permanent staff were kind, friendly, and efficient.

At Our Home-Fairborn, you won't ever have to worry about how your family member is being treated when you're not there. While the facility is very nice and the food is good too, the level of care from the memory care staff is what we're most thankful for. Even when the staff doesn't know you're watching, you'll continually see the same patient and kind interactions with the residents. Every time we visit dad (day or evening) we see it .... it's genuine.
