I did not give Paintbrush a 5 star because no place is perfect. The staff in memory care are outstanding! When we visit our Mom we are welcomed and delighted with the caregivers there. It is their caring attention that has made this transition an easier one for the whole family. My Mom enjoys great food and wonderful activities!

The care, cleanliness, activities, and food have all been very good. We appreciate the effort the staff puts into making the residents comfortable and well cared for. There has been some staff turnover, but the staff members we encounter are normally friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Overall, we are pleased with the care and environment.

I toured Paintbrush Assisted Living and Memory Care. It looked like a big luxury hotel with wood beams, big dining rooms, community television rooms, and stuff, but it was very expensive. The gentleman who gave the tour was very nice. He didn't pressure me or anything; he kind of showed me the place. He showed me what they had and gave me information about it. It looked pretty nice. If you had a good insurance policy or had lots of money, it would be a nice place to be because it would feel like living in the …

The staff is incredible and helpful in the transition of mom into the facility. We were all having a tough time. But now are so glad she is getting the 24/7 care that she deserves. The director of Memory Care, [name removed] has been an absolute angel not only to us, but I believe everyone there. She's great at helping mom out of her comfort zone. She is now doing things that she would otherwise not be doing. We're happy for her and proud of her. So grateful to Paintbrush for giving us our lives back.

CriticalI am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
Don't be fooled buy the beauty of the building. They are constantly under staffed, highly mis-managed and unorganized. Residents aren't cared for as they claim! Cost is increased regularly and found charges they had to reverse. If your loved one is a resident, I'd advise to visit regularly and at different times. Keep your loved one home in a loving caring environment if you can. Make their end of years the the best for them and you to remember. Hire home health to help you if you have to.
