My mom has been in Palm Terrace Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. We're very pleased with the staff and the rehabilitation that she got there. We felt they were very kind, and they exercised her. We felt that it was a good place for her to be, and that's why we sent her there. The therapy was exceptional. It's old, but it's maintained, except for the patient's bathrooms, which were pretty nasty. The rest of the facility looked pretty good. They're working on it, but the parking w…

If I could possibly give zero stars I would. This facility is one that needs to be reviewed by the state (I am requesting a visit). My sweet father was placed in this facility. The tour my sister and I were given was a complete bait and switch from the care my father was given. A small list of our concerns are: we are not confident my father was fed regularly. We were there many times during lunch and dinner and never saw him get a meal. His table where the tray would be sat had his plastic urnal on it. It stayed t…

I will try my best to describe how wonderful were these amazing workers at The Palm. My mother stayed there after a massive operation on her spine. Her stay was followed with much care and kindness . My family observed the dedication of so many people I would like to mention them here. Thank you all. Your efforts are very much appreciated. I was diagnosed with a herniated disc after being transported via ambulance to the Kaiser Permanente ER, Sand Canyon facility, in Irvine on May 29, 2018. The ER transferred me to Palm Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center on May 29, 2018 since I couldn't walk and I needed a 24 hour round the clock skilled nursing facility for my condition. I stayed at Palm Terrace from May 29, 2018 through June 3, 2018 and was very disappointed with my stay. Firstly and upon check in, I was given a bed that was too short. T…

I visited this facility

Palm Terrace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center was a very nice facility. They had very nice grounds and very nice staff. I think they had cafeteria style food. The rooms were small, and they were not as quaint in decorations, but the facility was nice and decorated. I found this to be more structured and hospitalized.

My mother suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on December 20, 2012. She was first transferred to an acute care facility for rehabilitation, but wasn't strong enough at that time to do the required rehabilitation. She was accepted by palm Terrace and transferred recently. Immediately upon her entering their facility, several rehabilitation doctors and staff evaluated her for her current capabilities. She began the proper diet and exercise regiment necessary to help her regain her strength. I am very happy to report a…
