PositivePark Place Senior Living at Winghaven
A company called Sonida bought Park Place at the beginning of the year. There was quite a bit of turnover with the staff. The staff is great. They care and they are very personable. There are only 2 Med Techs on each floor, this stretches them kind of thin... especially if one of th 'em calls off. The residents complain about the food, but my parents like it and I think it's very good as well.

PositiveWe have toured several independent living communities and this one was very compatible with others. It is older but very well maintained and individual apartments are upgraded regularly. The totally enclosed courtyard is very nice however some trees have gotten overgrown and should be removed. Pricing is very competitive with other properties.

Value for the money, I think it's too expensive and they should have washer and dryer units and the rooms for what they're paying. However, it is right down the hall and they are doing fine with it. Overall experience has been good. Staff are friendly and the restaurant workers are wonderful. Cleanliness is excellent, and the apartments are spacious.

Communication is not the best at all. I have called several time and cannot get through to anyone. And I have been waiting on an email from their HR dept. so I can a link to pay my dad's bill for over a week now and have not got anything.
