The care staff are super lovely and supportive. If grandma doesn't want to do an activity they will still bring her the snack they were having with activities and some for me too The food kinda reminds me of like college meal plan food but grandma seems to be eating so I think overall it's good. But I think I'll bring us some special treats from time to time. The staff that I interact with are typically med techs bringing her medicine. But everyone is very kind and polite. Aunt [name removed] chooses not to attend any of the activities, but I love reading on the board in the main room all the fun activities that are planned for the residents. I don't think Lou ever goes to the dining room to eat, I think she stays in her room and they make her a grilled cheese sandwich every day. But I've seen the menu and it looks great. PositiveParsons House is exceptional!
I'm not sure we could have found a better place for my mother-in-law. The staff is especially caring and attentive, food is very good, they do so many things to keep the residents engaged and as active as possible and there is a sincere family atmosphere. In house physical and occupational therapists, nurse practitioner that comes regularly are things you don't find most places. And mom thinks it is wonderful!
