Beware

I don't feel they are following procedures they should be following. My mother fell after 4 days after arriving. There were other issues with my mother's medication, and that caused issues with my siblings. I believe they can be attentive, but she hasn't been there long enough. I feel that they talk one thing and change after getting in the door. They have a horrible problem with honesty and turnover of staff. The meals have consisted of hot dogs, chips. We have done virtual visits due to no visitors at this time…

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

When he was released from the hospital, Dad went to Parsons Residential Care Center. It's a very old facility, but it was clean and the people were very nice. Unfortunately, he hated it. His room was very small and he had to share a bathroom. He liked being there, but as time went on, his things were being stolen left and right. His room was very tiny and he kept begging me to find him a new place. There were no family or friends, and he very seldom had a visitor. His room was filthy. When I moved him out of t…

I visited this facility

We were referred to Parsons Residential Care. They could take my mother, who is a double amputee, and it was perfect. It was an older facility, but it was well maintained. They were very family oriented, they had a calendar of events for all the patients to participate, and it was a good location. I would recommend that location tremendously. The care and concern of the patients, the nutrition regimen, and the location all stood out. They had single and double rooms occupancy. The rooms were great. We came unannoun…

Outstanding care for dad.

This is an outstanding community. The staff is wonderful caring and they keep me informed on any changes. I menu is very good and I like that he is enjoying the good menu. They offer him activities that he is slowly getting involved with the nice activities that are helpful. I am happy this community and I would recommend families to know that care and the value of this community for the care of a loved one.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

Deep Creek Manor is affordable. It was in the price range that he could afford. It was more like a house than a hospital. It doesn't have the hospital feel to it. Everyone there is really nice. They have been bringing in a physical therapist, and they bring the doctor onsite to take care of my grandfather. He is clearly happy, and he's adjusting easier. So far we been mostly been bringing him home with us. The facility is a little bit older but good. It needs a little bit of maintenance on the outside. Th…
