Great food, Clean facility, Friendly staff and residents

Peninsula Del Rey has great food, and a clean dining area. The staff are friendly and the residents are also friendly. We chose this place because it's as close to home as our home in Pacifica. Only issue was the location (not walkable to anything)

The staff/personnel are very positive and friendly overall their week spot food and limited menu. The chef is trying but looks like they are challenged on resources.

It's like a resort in some respect and it was very nice to be able to having dinner with my mom when we visited. Staff were very attentive and helpers as well. I would definitely recommend Peninsula Del Rey to others. However not if person had a fairly moderate to high level of care eg Parkinson's

Peninsula Del Rey

My comments about the staff would be to keep an eye on everything and make sure things are followed through. While they seem very friendly my wife and I could not shake the feeling that as long as there was money available (eg before signing contract) everything was roses, afterwards things were hit or miss. Had to sometimes repeat requests and other odd things.

Our Experience

My loved one was previously a resident for a brief time at Peninsula Del Rey and his overall experience was okay. It didn't end up working out, my loved one was too independent and didn't quite mesh. I thought the staff were all friendly and accommodating and I was disappointed that it did not work out for him.
