PositivePeninsula Family Care Home was smaller than the other place I visited, and I don't believe there were any private rooms. The house was nice, clean, and very bright, and it had a smaller yard. All of the staff was very friendly. It was in a very nice neighborhood. It's just what your preference is. I didn't want my husband sharing the room because he gets up in the middle of the night. There was no smell whatsoever.

PositiveVERY clean, pleasant staff. Small size ensures excellent care for residents.( 6 to 1) Did not see/learn if activities beyond tv viewing for residents are offered. Not quite the fit I am seeking for my husband but think it would be perfect for some. Open to visitors 9-9 ..and opportunity to sign residents out for hours or overnight.

PositivePeninsula Family Care Home was not like a big facility. It is smaller which is a type of home that I'm interested in looking at now for mom. There's a kitchen with a table and a family room, which would be inviting for the group to hang out together. I liked that. They have kind of a family feel.

PositiveMy father is in memory care at Peninsula Family Care Home, and it's very good. The rooms were very nice, furnished, and very clean. This is a small six-bed family home. It has a family room, a bedroom, a kitchen, and a breakfast area. The staff is very good. Because it's small with only six beds, it's very individualized type of care. There are no amenities.
