The staff is the best at Penn Assisted Care. They are so caring, compassionate, kind and empathetic to all the residents. They come as quickly as they can when a client needs help. These same people are the ones that make the food, clean the rooms and do laundry. They also do activities and holiday games for the clients. Feedback is that the place is incredibly clean, but the furniture is a little out dated. The staff is amazing! They are caring and very helpful. They have a lot of activities for the residents to do and many common rooms for them to watch TV. They have wifi, so they can also have their own smart TV in their room if they choose. The rooms are shared, so personal space is small, but adequate.

Home away from home

My dad moved in to Penn Assisted Care in [date removed]. He has made many new friends and acquaintances. The staff are alert and always ready to help when needed. The staff are very friendly and do a great job. He is never hungry due to 3 meals and snacks Meds always given on time.

Thankful I found Penn Assisted Care for my mother.

It doesn't feel like a hospital, which is nice. It's a very large, older house with lots of rooms and living rooms and such. I was thankful to be able to get her in there and that she was able to afford this. (I really don't know how the elderly can afford some of these places.) I'm thankful that at Penn Assisted Care, my mother can now get on a regular schedule, receive care, and be around people since I still work full time.

This was a nice community it was just not a good feeling or vibe for my loved one. The tour was good just not the right fit for my loved one. I did not feel like she would adapt well.
