I would recommend to others. Pennsylvania Place staff were always willing to listen to our needs. The staff at Pennsylvania Place were all very helpful, and made Mom feel at home, and gave her needed assurance that they were there whenever she needed something.

They are very helpful at coordinating care. It's a very pleasant place to be. They have a daily activities schedule which include baking doggie cookies for the local pet shelter and other things. Communication between the community and myself is pretty good, they usually contact me with any issues. If I reach out to them first, they are responsive. My loved ones apartment is spacious; it has a living room, a bedroom, an easily accessible bathroom, and a small kitchenette area with cabinet and counter space. It's a…

I have had the opportunity to visit first hand, the Haven, and the food that the residents are getting. Many, many times…more than I could even count, I have heard complaints from my family members staying in the Haven regarding the poor quality of the food being served. Examples: Yesterday evening 8/13/16 (Saturday night meal). The kitchen served 1 cold ham sandwich. No cheese, 1 thin slice of ham and potato chips. The day before 8/12/16 (Friday noon meal). Served 1 bun with a thin, small hotdog and fried potatoes…

Pennsylvania Place is a great place for my Grandpa to stay. He recently lost his lifelong companion, my Grandma, so he moved out of his room at an "assisted apartment" type living center and moved to Penn Place. The place is very clean and well kept. The rooms are a bit small and seem more like rooms fit for bunk beds and not two separate hospital beds (separated by a thin curtain). The food seems to be adequate for him. I didn't get a chance to go there during meal time so I am not sure of the cafet…
