PositiveMy mom is staying in Plymouth Place for rehab. This is a top-of-the-line, higher-end facility. I can't imagine any place would be any better than this. We just got lucky because the hospital allowed us, and there was space available, and we were able to come in here. So, we're fortunate for that. The staff is excellent. They are very attentive. My mother is almost 102 years old, and they are very patient with her and provide good, caring service. The food is excellent.

PositiveA large population of independent living households which have provided me with many of my favorite activities and friends including visiting the Chicago symphony orchestra, the Lyric Opera, discussion groups, Art Appreciation Lectures, a cooking club, and Bridge Playing. My 1 bedroom apartment is a spacious 700 sq foot with a 20 foot balcony. Once a week all my 4th floor south neighbors gather outside my apartment's door to discuss current events and hobbies. The food here is wonderful with choices from 4 dining r…

PositiveI’ve been at Plymouth Place now for over two months and love this place. My apartment is a one bedroom 900 sq ft with a 20 ft porch that spans the living and bedroom with sliding glass doors in each room. Good here is excellent in all 5 dining areas. The population is over 400 in a variety of apartments spread over a large campus with many gardens and a large pond supported by many walking trails. There are many clubs and facilities to support most lifestyles as well as a variety of entertainment. This is the place…

PositiveMy father-in-law is at Plymouth Place. I think at this point we are very happy with Plymouth Place. We like their cleanliness, and their staff seems very, very professional very nice. I think they're doing the best they can with my father-in-law. There are beauty salons, and they have church like once a week there. They have lots of activities for the patients and the lady who handles all those activities is nice. Plus, the food is above average. My father-in-law is in a double room, and it's okay. They k…

CriticalMost disappointed. My 97 year old Mom was refused without explanation despite insurance coverage. We will make other arrangements.

CriticalThe first time my grandma stayed here was years ago after recovering from surgery. When my mother and I went to visit her, we were told by the staff there that she had been sent to the E.R. (no one had contacted us about this, we only found out once we went there). When we got to the E.R. my grandma was experiencing a morphine overdose. The staff had given her so much morphine that she nearly died. This year, she returned after having a different procedure on her back (our family didn't want her to go back but she …
